Oh geez! So much crap this week. So, Monday seemed like it would be a good day. Mike and I were gonna go to the temple in the morning then I was gonna go back to his house after class to make dinner. Well, that didn't really work. So, I went to his house in the morning, but just as I was getting there, he texted me and said he was really sick so he didn't think we should go. I was kinda upset at first, but it ended up being good I guess because I was able to write my speech for the next day.
So, then I went to class, ate lunch and started to go to his house. Well, yeah...that didn't happen so much. I probably wouldn't be able to explain it very well on here, so I'm not gonna go into all the little freaking details. But, basically, I lost control of my car getting on I-15 from I-80 towards the Spaghetti Bowl. My power steering and brakes both felt like they stopped working, so I couldn't really stop to get control at all. I spun out across three lanes and ended up hitting the wall while my car was backwards before bouncing back and stopping. I was on the side of the road for two hours, and there was never a time while I was there when there weren't a ton of cars racing by. But, for the few seconds I was spinning out, there were none. So, basically, I was blessed and am lucky to even be alive right now. And, best of all, I get to drive around our van!!!
So ha I called Mike to let him know I wouldn't be making dinner. That was kinda a funny conversation. But, we decided I could just come Tuesday night instead. So, I went after class to go make spaghetti with chili. Mmmmm.....it was good!! So, I was there a few hours while the chili was cooking, and then I made the spaghetti by the time everybody had gotten there. Brock came and David came with his sister, Claudia, and then all the McBrides. They thought I was crazy for putting spaghetti and chili together. But, they all said they really liked it, so that was good.
After dinner, we went to see Alice in Wonderland. I really can't decide on that one to be honest. I mean it was good, I guess, but it was just weird. I was told it was a lot better in 3D though, so maybe I should have done that. The effects were really cool and everything, I just definitely don't think I'd pay to go see it again.
So, Wednesday morning, Mike and I were planning on going to the temple again. But, Mike was way busy that day, so I told him not to worry about it. So, I got to sleep in until like 8:00, which was probably good for me. Then, I went to Institute so I could get my new parking sticker. After that, I drove to Klary's house, and we went to pick up Mike Fralick to go to the Ogden temple. Well, that didn't really work out either. Traffic was horrible going to Ogden because of the diesel leak, so it took like twenty minutes just to get off at the next exit. There was traffic every possible way to go north, so we just decided to go to Bountiful instead. It was pretty cool, and it was Klary's first time there. And, we saw Sara there. What a cool coincidence!!!
So, that was fun. I didn't get home until after 6:00, which means we had a four and half temple trip. Crazy, huh?! So, I was needing to do some homework. But, I forgot I had to make some brownies, so I did that. And, I finished just in time to go to Klary's house for a game night. Totally dominated there, until the end, when we lost big time. That kinda sucked, but oh well haha
I left pretty early so I could go home to finish my homework..which I kinda didn't even really do. I was able to finish my current issue and slept over at my house. So, I got up early to go to class at 7:30, and have been studying in my classes since for my Sociology test. Well, we'll see how that turned out. And now, I'm eating at the Union with Ben and Ashley, ready for a nap............................
