Everything, Everyday, Everywhere

So, this weekend was pretty good. I fell like I did SO much, it's ridiculous haha I definitely enjoyed it though.

So, I guess I'll start with Friday. I got up at about 5:00 in the morning so I could go to the temple. I went with Danica to the Salt Lake temple. It was my first time going, and it was such an amazing experience!! I've been waiting for this for so long. The whole time I was investigating the Church, this is definitely one of the things I was looking forward to the most. It was so nice to be able to help a few people receive the salvation that they have been waiting for. I really want to try to go as often as I can. I think I'm going with Mike Wednesday, so I'm way excited for that! Now, I just can't wait until I can submit some family names. I guess I could now, I just really need to figure out how.

So after that, I went to ASAP, which was better than usual I guess. We toured ClearLink. It seems like a pretty cool company, but I don't know how much I got out of going. After that I had work, which is just, well, work. I wish I could just make money for doing nothing. haha If only..... Friday night didn't amount to much. I probably could have found something to do, but I didn't want to make an effort haha It was really nice to just have a night where I could just kinda relax and go to bed early.

Saturday, I got to go snowboarding!!! That's another one I've been wanting to do for a while. I had tons of fun. Ben, Meghan, and I went to Powder Mountain to go night boarding. It was tons of fun! Meghan and I aren't nearly as good as Ben though, so I kinda felt bad that we were holding him back. We told him to go ahead of us a few times, but he stayed with us most of the time. Such a nice kid! :) But, Meghan and I just ate it so much. I think I did okay, but I still didn't stay up the whole time. I did good sometimes, but I need to go more than once a year if I'm really gonna get any better. Again with that stupid money stuff....they should make things like that free! So, afterwards, Meghan and I went to see The Lightning Thief. Very upset. I was pretty excited to see it. I though it would be pretty good. But, no. It definitely had its cool moments, but overall I would probably not recommend it to most people.

Okay, all day Saturday, I was like freaking starving!! I don't know why I was so hungry. And of course, it carried over to Sunday....Fast Sunday. I can usually do pretty well with fasting, but this time was so hard for me. I was hungry, tired, and sore from falling so much the day before! But, I got over it. I got to bless the Sacrament for my first time. That was pretty cool. Then I bore my testimony. That was pretty cool, too. I kept telling myself not to do it, but I did. And, I'm so glad I did!! It felt so good. I don't know why, but I was shaking so much while I was up there! I wasn't afraid or nervous or anything, so I don't really know what the problem was. But, I said what I wanted to say, so that was good. I felt like every single person was watching me, though. Usually I notice people just talking or not paying attention during people's testimonies, but I didn't see anybody doing that while I was up there. Everybody was just watching me and either smiling or crying. After Sacrament Meeting, people kept coming up to talk to me about it, so I'm really glad I went up. But, after the block, I went to the Godfrey's house for dinner. I'm so glad I went because I was so hungry and my family didn't eat until after 7:00. And, it was spaghetti with meatballs!! It was really weird because when Ben invited me to go to have dinner at his house, that's what I was really hoping it would be. So, that worked out pretty well!

Well, anyway, that was pretty much my weekend. Now I'm back to my regular procrastination at school. I have so much crap due in the next few weeks. I would say I can't wait for my spring break, but I'll probably be spending it writing my research paper since it's due right after. Oh well...I'll get through it!
