Oh Christmas Tree

Today marked what was, for me, the first day of holiday celebration.  When my family moved to Utah, we would go to the Festival of Trees every year.  However, it seemed a couple years ago we just stopped going. Then last year, we did a triple date type thing and went.  And this year, I decided to reinstate it as a tradition of going every year.

Tonight, Meghan and I went to the Festival of Tress.  I have to say, it wasn't quite as good as I had remembered it from when I was little.  I think it might just be the normal growing up and losing a little of the magic, or maybe the trees are suffering a bit from the economy just like everything else.  Nevertheless, it was still pretty amazing!  It amazes me the amount of time people put in to some of those trees.  There was one that had four trees bent over to form a wave for Santa to surf on.  I mean, really?  How cool is that?

Anyway, I freaking love Christmas!  I think there's just a magical quality that comes along with this time of year.  There is so much to do to enjoy Christmastime, and I am looking forward to be able to do as much as possible!  So, we'll see how much I end up doing and I'll keep you updated on at least some of it.

I feel like I already told you this but I can't remember for sure. I took my memory card out when I was putting the pictures on my computer and I guess I forgot to put it back in. So I could only take like three pictures before the internal memory was full.
