Solving the Puzzle

Ever since I started college, I have felt like my intelligence level has been going down.  I don't really know why.  I am still able to keep up good grades, and I think I'm learning from my classes.  But, for whatever reason it seems like my long term retention just isn't as good as it used to be.  Good luck if you ever need me to tutor you in something.

I read somewhere not too long ago that you should do puzzles in order to keep your mind strong.  I love to do crosswords and sudoku and other puzzles that they put in the paper, but get so frustrated because I often can't do them.  Even though I like to do them, I often don't just because it seems like there are more important things going on.

Well, I found the newspaper laying around the house today and decided to get to doing the crossword puzzle.  And, to my amazement, I was able to finish it!  The last time I was able to finish a crossword without cheating was during Stats in October, and I can't even tell you when before that.  The cryptoquote managed to elude me, but I'll get it next time.....maybe.

Trust me, Karen, I still get those moments all the time!
