So, a lot of people have been asking me about my "love life." I am usually kinda private about these things, for whatever reason. I don't know, I guess I just don't want it to be a big deal when it doesn't work out, so I don't like to say anything until it's a little more official. But, since it's Valentine's Day, I figured today would be the ideal day to fill people in. Well, that's too bad, because I'm not going to! :)
The real reason for this post is that everybody is getting married!! I can't even believe how many people I have been hearing about getting married! Off the top of my head, I can think of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 engagements that I have heard of just since Christmas! Less than two months..... Oh, just thought of another one! (It's a secret that I'm not allowed to tell anyone about, though, so I don't know if I should really count that.) Granted, I have been graduated from high school for almost two years, and we do live in Utah. But, some of these that I'm hearing about catch me so off guard! Honestly, I heard about one recently, and I just had to shake my head....
The weirdest of all to me was a wedding that I went to just this weekend. One of my best friends from high school, Alexa, just got married on Friday. I've had friends get married before, but she's the one that I've probably been the closest with so far. To be honest, it's a little upsetting. Don't get me wrong, I am SO happy for for her, but it's just the fact that my good friend is, in a sense, gone, and so many others are soon to follow!
Now I'm a little depressed because before long I am going to be the only person my age that I know that lives within 25 miles of me that will be unmarried. Maybe I do need to revert to my plan of getting a wife for Christmas! Hmmmm........
