But It's Better If You Do

Okay, so I remember when I started my blog in March I told myself I was going to keep up on it.  *  Yeah...don't think I did so well this month.  I think it might be because I don't have much to say.  I haven't really done much lately so I haven't really had much that I thought I could blog about.  But, now that I think about it, there are some things I do want to talk about.

*(I can't believe how much I saw "okay, so" I always think of when I used to say it and Mike would just say and chips and I feel so stupid haha Speaking of Mike, I got a letter from him last week, and Dallin.  I love getting letters from them.  Ha you'd think I was waiting for them!!  Don't worry, I'm not.  At least not in the traditional manner!)

I think I blog a lot about going to the temple..but I feel like I don't want to do it as much unless it's something big.  I really don't know why I'm even explaining this now, but I am haha I try to go as often as I can..I went every day Monday through Friday last week and I went 3 times this week.  I have come to love it so much and value the opportunity more than you could ever know!!  I've been lucky enough to be able to share the experience and go with some really good friends too!  Just ths week and last week I went with Ben, Ben, Klary, Danica, Alysha, Meghan, Sara, and Quaid.  And there might even be more!!  And there's definitely more that I really want to go with when I get the opportunity.

I feel like I've told pretty much everyone in the state of Utah this, but I've made it a goal to do work in all the Utah temples....hopefully by the end of the summer.  I still need to go to Logan, Draper, Provo, Vernal, St. George, and Monticello.  Sara, Quaid, Meghan, and I were talking at lunch after we went to the Salt Lake temple on Monday and we're gonna try to find a day when we can go to all of the temples starting at Logan and ending up at Provo, and all the ones between.  I hope we do because it sounds so fun!!

I am really hoping that this summer will be a way fun one because I realized that I usually don't have the best summers for some reason.  This past weekend was way fun!!!  Ben, Blake, and I went bowling Friday night, which was a blast!  (I look stupid in the picture but it's the only decent one we got of all 3 of us)

Ben and Blake are so good at bowling that they made sure I didn't one, though I came pretty darn close in the second and third games.  Nevertheless, I got enough strikes and managed to win three free games!!  Neither of them can say that so I'd say I won! :)

Then Saturday we got a bunch of people together and played laser tag.  They were having their grand reopening so because we "liked" them on facebook, we got to play for $1 a game.  So, we each bought 2 games....but the people at the laser tag didn't take our tickets.  They said we had wristbands on so we would have unlimited.  We didn't want to argue with the employees, so we played 6 games, and then they finally took our tickets, so we played a total of 8.  It was so epic!!!  We went undefeated for the first 7 games, led by Tara every time.  She was seriously vicious!!  And Brian was doing pretty dang good too considering he technically should have had crutches!  The eighth game nobody was willing to take us on, so we had to divide up and play each other.  My team lost......I don't want to talk about it.

So, Sunday brought two farewells.  Ben's, followed by Ben's, then Ben's house, then Ben's house.  Confused?  If you are then you probably don't know them so it doesn't matter anyway haha  But, it's really sad.  Everybody's leaving.  Most of the guys are gone (I guess I still have a few but even some of them will be leaving soon.  It's just gonna be me and Blake probably...which, come to think of it, might not be so bad) and Klary and Amanda left too!  And then everybody has work....except for me (but......see below!!!! :) ).  But, that's beside the point.  Back to Ben and Ben.  It's gonna be sad to see them go, but they're making a good choice for their lives and I'm proud of them....just like I am for all my other missionary buddies!  Ben's house that night, thinking back on it, was really kinda lame.  Not that I think it's lame, but recounting the story to other people makes it seem kinda like it should have been.  What did we do?  We played signs.  Yep, that's it!  For THREE hours!!!  It was so much fun!!!  I've never played with that many people!  I think we should get together and do it again.  Anyway, bye Bens!!

So, about my joblessness.  I was talking to Alexa after church one day about it and she told me I should apply where she works, at America First.  So, I did.  I always hear about people applying and not getting it, so I didn't want to get my hopes up.  I called a week after I turned in my application and they said there were no openings at the time, but to call back in about two weeks.  So, I was going to call yesterday, but ended up losing time.  So, I just said I would call today.  But, I woke up this morning to my phone buzzing and they called me!  I went in for an interview, and the guy made it sound pretty good for me.  I have to do one more interview, but hopefully I will be a teller soon!!  Pray for me!

One last thing!  Crazy thing!!  I just found out that I am leaving for California early tomorrow morning!!  But, unfortunately not the fun California.  Well, maybe fun, we'll see.  I'm going to Lake Tahoe, and it's supposed to snow!!  Go from cold to colder???  What is this madness?  Oh well.  Vacation's vacation I guess!  I'm sure it'll be fun.  Just next time, I need to go somewhere with sun so I can get a tan!!

Okay, that's it!  This ended up being so much longer than I had intended..or realized it could be haha There's probably even more stuff I forgot about.  Most likely nothing too important though.  They should be shorter in the future.  But, if you got through this whole thing (which I know very few will considering I don't think anyone reads it anyway) I'll give you a special treat!  Just let me know, and I promise it'll be worth it!!
